class 10 math - Check Topics Removed from Syllabus for 2020-21

Board has deleted some portion of the syllabus for the ease of students who will be taking their CBSE Board Exam next year.CBSE Class 10 Maths has been published with a 30% reduction in the original syllabus. note: red color texts are removed from the math syllabus

LINEAR EQUATIONS IN 2 VARIABLES –method of cross multiplication .

QUADRATIC EQUATION-situational problem based on equation reducible to the quadratic equation.

ARITHMETIC PROGRESSIONS- application in solving daily life problems based on a sum to n terms.

COORDINATE GEOMETRY

COORDINATE GEOMETRY- The area of triangle.

GEOMETRY 

TRIANGLES- proof of the following theorems are deleted

·        The ratio of the areas of the 2 similar triangles is equal to the ratio of the square of their corresponding sides.

·        In a triangle, if the square on 1 side of triangle is equal to the sum of the squares on the other sides, the angle opposite to the first side is a right angle.

CIRCLES- NO DELETION

CONSTRUCTIONS- construction of the triangle similar to given triangle.

TRIGONOMETRY

INTRODUCTION TO TRIGNOMETERY – motivate the ratio whichever are defined at 0⁰ and 90⁰.

TRIGONOMETRIC IDENTITIES – the trigonometric ratio of the complementary angle.

HIGHT AND DISTANCE –NO deletion.

MENSURATION

AREA RELATED TWO CIRCLES- problem on a central angle of 120⁰.

SURFACE AREA AND VOLUMES- frustum of a cone.

STATISTICS – step deviation    for finding the mean – cumulative frequency graph  

PROBABILITY- NO DELETION

Then entered  submit button.

👉 The CBSE official site will show  you the results. You can also download the CBSE result 2020  for offline  and you can also   print them  hard copy .
